Our products are grown in the most optimum of environments using totally green processes. Pasteurized cereal straws such as oat or wheat are used as a base, or substrate, upon which our mycelium grows. Mycelium is a thread-like collection of cells that represent the vegetative growth of a mushroom. The inoculated straw is then placed in our sterile climate controlled environment to mature to harvest. All staff are trained to MGAP standards for quality assurance. Our products are "Farm to Table" certified by the Louisiana Department of Agriculture and Forestry in accordance with RS 3:4721 for the promotion of Louisiana made, grown, manufactured or processed products.
Our research staff and development team at Everett,Boykin & Associates, L.L.C are developing alternative techniques and all natural products for culinary and medical applications.
