About our processes

​​Our products are grown in the most optimum of environments using totally green processes. ​ Pasteurized cereal straws such as oat or wheat are used as a base, or substrate, upon which our mycelium grows. Mycelium is a thread-like collection of cells that represent the vegetative growth of a mushroom. The inoculated straw is then placed in our sterile climate controlled environment to mature to harvest. All staff are trained to MGAP standards for quality assurance.

​Our research staff and development team at  Everett,Boykin & Associates, L.L.C  are developing alternative techniques and all natural products for culinary and medical applications.
